The Maryland Genetics, Epidemiology, and Medicine Training Program

Curriculum

The MD-GEM curriculum draws from well-established courses in both Genetic Epidemiology and Human Genetics. All MD-GEM fellows are expected to successfully complete the coursework required by the home department.

The following courses are required of all MD-GEM students:

In addition to this coursework, all MD-GEM students are expected to attend journal clubs, research-in-progress meeting, and MD-GEM seminars, and to complete rotations in both population and laboratory science groups.
